Erin and Derek’s wedding reception was a blast! 500 family and friends attended this gala of a reception held at Fischer’s in Belleville. We entertained the guests for seven hours. Not that we really had to persuade them to dance; this group was ready to party!

The world largest catsup bottle stands proudly next to Route 159, just south of downtown Collinsville, IL. This unique 170 foot tall water tower was built in 1949 for the bottlers of Brooks original and tangy catsup. For the last 4 years I have provided music and announcements for the festival. The 11th annual party celebrated the 60th birthday of the famous catsup bottle on Sunday, July 12th 2009. The American Legion Post 365 was kind enough to again provide its facilities for the party. Rain storms blew in after lunch; fortunately most of the special events were already completed. We moved inside the legion hall to complete the trophy presentations and listen to the band, and I was able to cover my equipment under the tent and avoid any problems.
